Since 1956, the Cape Fear Valley Health System has grown from a 200-bed, one-building hospital to a regional health system with 619 beds, four hospitals, and primary care physician offices throughout Cumberland County and surrounding areas to become the eleventh largest hospital system in the state. Our four main facilities: Cape Fear Valley Medical Center; Behavioral Health Care (BHC); Southeastern Regional Rehabilitation (SRRC) and Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital - with affiliations with the Cleveland Clinic provide an endless array of healthcare options for you and your family.
- Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 394-bed hospital that includes The Heart Center and The Cancer Center.
- Behavioral Health Care (BHC) offers 32 in-patient and outpatient psychiatric care as well as substance abuse treatment.
- Southeastern Regional Rehabilitation (SRRC), a 78-bed rehabilitation hospital.
- Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital, a 112-bed long term acute-care hospital.
What’s more, our HealthPlex is an award-winning fitness and wellness facility with 65,000 square feet containing two pools, multiple exercise classrooms, a running track and more.
